out west

out here enjoying a nice little trip to the west coast, last night in la for the clippers which was a close one. i think we were asleep and then just woke up. coming back from a big hole on the road was great for our team. you know me, just trying to be the best...the best player i can be. now on to tomorrow in phoenix to play shaq, nash and the suns. one month to the playoffs and then its time to step up to a whole nother level.
home court advantage is the goal now and we'll do what it takes to get there. i feel good, healthy and ready to play as many minutes as it takes for us to win ballgames. yes i've got the bruises to show how we've gotten here, but so does everyone else.
these long roadtrips add up, especially late in the season. so thanks to my teammates for keeping me going. my supporting cast, these guys around me keep me going. i'm trying to make them better everyday. just like i'm trying to become better everyday. perspective time... i can't afford to go out there and waste a day. nope, not me.
never, never waste a day when you get the opportunity to play the game of basketball. its funny because i see so many kids on weplay who have such great opportunities to have fun and do what you love just like me. my advice - play everything you can for as long as you can.
i played other sports too you know, but ultimately had to decide. i just love the game basketball. i still love football, a passion of mine growing up and always will be. me and my four best friends growing up - romeo, drew, sian and willie, we had a goal which was to win a national high school championship in basketball. everything led to that for us and i kinda dedicated that my senior year to not playing football and getting ready to prepare to win a national championship. that was when i had to choose, but i'm happy i made the decision i did. working out just fine, don't you agree?

Hey Lebron, the playoffs are coming up real soon. I have been keeping my eye on the Lakers and Cavs record. I know you will get home court advantage but if you don't, the Cavs will beat the Lakers. Don't make me out to be a Liar when the time comes.
